Today Class 2 and the year 3s from Class 5 have been working collaboratively to cut wood using a saw. We focused on using our tools safely and accurately measuring length. Outstanding teamwork shone throughout the lesson as the children showed great communication skills. After safely cutting the wood we then used sand paper to smooth the edges ready for the next step of our project.
