Week 2 of Nurture/HUB

We have had another busy week in the Nurture/HUB online classroom! A massive thank you to everybody who has sent us a picture or a video this week – you are all superstars! Aaron sent us a fantastic video of a game he had made, thank you very much!

On ‘Motivational Monday’ we created posters to stick up at home to remind us to keep going and that we are doing an amazing job in lock down! We were so happy to see the positive messages of resilience and teamwork that were sent in 🙂

On ‘Tell Us Tuesday’ we shared our specials talents. Mrs Crossland showed us a beautiful dress she is knitting, Mr Whitehouse and Layla amazed us with a song on the guitar and Kenneth impressed us with a song on the piano – this time at home is the perfect time to practice your special talent or even find a new one 🙂

‘Well-being Wednesday’ encouraged us to find the positives in this current situation – playing and spending time with siblings, exercise and playing outside in the sunshine were some of the fantastic positive things shared with us that people have enjoyed whilst being at home! Such a fab way to think about being at home, what are your positives? Then ‘Throwback Thursday’ asked us to think back to a time we have felt proud of something we had done – this was a lovely task as it reminded us how special we are!

We ended the week with ‘Funky Friday’ Mrs Crossland got us all laughing by asking us to share our favourite jokes, we hope they made you smile!

How does a polar bear make a new friend? He breaks the ice 🙂 – Mr Whitehouse 🙂

Thank you for another brilliant week, have a lovely weekend! See you Monday!
