Class 4 have been learning all about animal classification by using their mental maths knowledge to support them.

Children were shown photos of different animals. Each animal class was worth a different value and by adding the value with the Individual animal’s value enabled children to find a letter. Each letter created a scrambled word giving a further unknown animal within that animal class.
