Y3B – Locating Famous Explorers’ routes using Atlas’

As part of the topic, children have been exploring different famous travellers/explorers from around the world.

They began by finding out more about them through research and then today we have plotted out their current day route on a world map, creating our own colour coded key.

We found some of the key countries such as: America, England, Spain, Italy and Australia. Children discovered that it was James Cook (a British explorer) who travelled the furthest as his destination was Australia!

Super job Class 4!
