Today Class 4 began their new unit of Art. Children conducted an artist study on a contemporary painter called Sandra Silberzweig who believes art has the power to heal as well as a key way to express yourself.

Children used their sketch books to convey key themes about the artist’s work as well as evaluating some existing work before briefly beginning to experiment with drawing using Sandra’s preferred way of drawing: cubism.

We can’t wait to build up our skills to recreate our own inspired pieces.
