Today Class 4 started their vegetable of the week tasting. Today’s vegetable was Rhubarb which Miss Newton-Smith has grown in her own garden!

Most children had never tasted it before and were keen to give it a go for the first time! Children were given a choice to dip in sugar before tasting.

Some children thoroughly enjoyed it; however some thought it was too crunchy and sour. Some children said it was delicious and reminded them of an apple!
