Our safe and engaging extended day runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing peace of mind and continuity for your child. Pupils can enjoy a variety of activities and clubs both before and after school hours, extending the learning and fun in a familiar environment. More Information

Children at Roughwood consistently achieve highly year on year at the end of Year 6. So much so that we are proud to say in 2024, our school was 3rd out of all Rotherham Schools for our achievement. More Information

How to Apply

If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, you need to apply for their primary school place for the September 2026 intake.

Please be aware of the following key dates and steps:

Application Deadline: The closing date for all applications is Thursday, 15 January 2026.
