This morning we had a lovely stay and play session all based around our topic this term “How does your garden grow?”
The children had a great time getting stuck into lots of fun activities. We did activities including vegetable printing, designed some creative super hero vegetables and enjoyed some colouring in too. There was also farm animal play-dough, paper plate animals and minibeasts. Children had a simple planting activity where the children could make and grow their own cress plant to take home too.
It was so lovely to see everyone getting involved, being creative, and learning through play. The children especially loved sharing their learning space with their grown ups and showing them all the different things they’ve been doing.
