LEAF class visit The Butterfly House

What a special day it has been for the LEAF Class!

As part of our topic on minibeasts, we took our learning to the  Butterfly House. The children have been so curious about the little creatures in our world, and today they got to experience them up close.

Here is a look at what we got up to during our unforgettable day out:

🦋 Magical Moments in the Butterfly House

Our first stop was, of course, the tropical butterfly house itself. As we stepped into the warm, tropical air, the children’s faces were absolutely priceless.

Surrounded by vibrant colors, we watched  as dozens of beautiful butterflies fluttered all around us. Some lucky friends even had butterflies land on them.

🦖 From Minibeasts to… Dinosaurs?!

The excitement didn’t stop with insects. We also had the chance to explore and see lots of other amazing animals. But the biggest surprise of the day? We found some dinosaurs. The children loved  exploring the prehistoric trail.

💦 Afternoon Fun: Splashing and playing.

After a busy morning of exploring, we headed over to the play park for some well-deserved free play.

LEAF Class Top Tip: You can never have too much water play! 😊

The children absolutely love getting messy and having fun with water, so the splash area was a massive hit. We  splashed around, and shared so many laughs.
