Our students recently took part in a creative hands-on design activity where they created their own survival bag prototypes using simple materials such as cotton thread, needles, fabric pieces, and recycled resources.
Working carefully and collaboratively, the children explored how practical items can be designed to help people in challenging situations. They practised important sewing and construction skills while learning about problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.
The classroom was full of exciting ideas as students planned, stitched, tested, and improved their designs. Each survival bag prototype was unique and reflected the children’s imagination and thoughtful thinking about what essential items people might need in an emergency.
