Today in class we had some very special eggs. First, we made guesses about what might be inside. Some children thought there would be a chicken while others were sure it might be a dinosaur.
The children took turns using the hammer, chisel and excavation brush and began breaking open the eggs. We chipped away slowly and brushed off the pieces. When we finally chipped away enough shell we made an exciting discovery… There was a dinosaur inside!
The children were excited to see what they had uncovered and put the dinosaurs out in class to share and play.
