Our Year 6 children had a fantastic and very informative visit to Crucial Crew at the Lifewise Centre in Hellaby!
The children took part in a range of realistic scenarios designed to help them develop important life skills and learn how to keep themselves and others safe. They explored knife safety, water safety and fire safety, as well as learning about Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) and the dangers and risks children may face.
One of the highlights was stepping into a realistic magistrates’ court scenario, where the children reenacted a court case and experienced different roles within the justice system.
It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to learn outside of the classroom, ask questions and develop their understanding of staying safe in the wider world. A huge well done to Year 6 for their fantastic participation! 🌟
