Year 3 used drama to explore and retell what happened to Jim Jarvis (the main character from our book) and his family, as we explore the beginning of our class text – Street Child.
Through role-play, freeze frames and thoughtful discussion, the children brought the action to life and developed a deeper understanding of the characters’ experiences and emotions.
