To gain a better understanding of why a church is a special place for Christians, Class 5 have visited St John’s Church where we were given a tour of the building to highlight key features of a church such as the pulpit, font, altar and the communion rail. Reverend Middleton then shared a story to the children about inclusion and kindness before finishing our visit with a prayer.
