We had a brilliant time at our Space-Themed Stay and Play! The children and their grown-ups enjoyed exploring space through lots of fun activities and experiences.
Our crafts were a big success. The children got creative making clay aliens, shape rockets, and colourful dab rockets. They also worked together to build their own rockets using blocks, showing great imagination and teamwork. It was lovely to see everyone so engaged and proud of their creations.
One of the most exciting parts of the session was trying astronaut food. The children were curious to see what it tasted like and enjoyed talking about what astronauts might eat in space.
We also had a visit from the amazing Wonderdome. The children loved stepping inside and learning about planets, stars, and the solar system. They were fascinated by what they saw and enjoyed exploring space in a fun and interactive way.
Throughout the session, the children sang space-themed songs, shared their ideas, and took part in lots of discussions about space. Their enthusiasm and excitement made the day extra special.
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came along and joined in with the activities. Your support helps make our Stay and Play sessions so enjoyable, and it was wonderful to spend the morning exploring space together.
