Schools from across Rotherham have come together today at Rotherham Minster to celebrate ‘Rotherham Day’ through a vibrant programme of singing, dancing, movement and drama.
This special collaborative event brings pupils and local schools together to share their creativity, celebrate their local community and showcase the incredible talent of young people across Rotherham schools.
Through music, performance and movement, pupils explored what makes Rotherham special, creating a joyful celebration of our town, its people, its heritage and its future.
The event has shown how children in our local community can work together, build new connections and celebrate the power of the arts to bring communities together. Our academy schools at the same side of Rotherham – Roughwood, Greasbrough and Rockingham – came together to sing. 🎵
