An incredible day of football at Parkgate Astro as children from Year 5&6 competed in the Rotherham United Half Time Cup 2nd round. The children got off to a slow start losing their first game and needed to win all their remaining games to progress to the finals. They were up for the challenge winning all their remaining games, winning the group and progressing to the final at the New York Stadium during half time between Rotherham United and Reading. Outstanding resilience shown throughout and amazing to see the children’s hard work pay off.
