The Chestnuts outdoor adventure morning was full of excitement and discovery. We wrapped up warm in our coats, hats, and gloves before heading out to the outdoor classroom, ready to explore despite the chilly weather. The fresh air and natural surroundings made it the perfect setting for a morning of adventure and learning.
Once we arrived, we set off to look for hidden bunnies scattered around the area. Everyone searched carefully, peeking behind trees, under bushes, and around logs, sharing their excitement each time one was found. After our bunny hunt, we gathered a variety of natural materials such as leaves, sticks, and small stones to create our own unique pictures, using the outdoors as our inspiration.
To finish our creations, we spray painted over our arrangements, revealing beautiful natural patterns when the materials were lifted away. It was amazing to see how each picture turned out differently. We ended the morning with a fun game of hopping bunnies, where everyone jumped and laughed together, bringing a joyful close to our outdoor adventure.
