A huge well done to all our children from Reception to KS2 for their wonderful Harvest Festival Assemblies this week! From our youngest pupils in Reception to our Key Stage 2 pupils sharing thoughtful harvest learning, every assembly was filled with brilliant enthusiasm and fantastic singing.
Harvest Festival is a traditional time of year when we give thanks for the food grown on the land and celebrate the hard work of farmers and food growers. It is also an important time for our school community to think of others and share with those in need.
Thank you to all the parents, carers, and staff who supported the celebrations and contributed to our harvest collection for the local community!
We had some wonderful feedback from parents:
“Lovely assembly. Really enjoyed how this year’s music/hymns were traditional but also mixed with some more contemporary versions. You could tell the children really enjoyed this also. A Fantastic opportunity to see all the hard work from both pupils and staff members.”
“Loved how organised it was with the classes and the children singing the songs was fabulous.”
“Thank you for organising this lovely assembly. We really enjoyed it. * was very happy. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness, hard work and support.”
