This morning, children in class 4 and class 6 performed alongside other children from other schools across Rotherham at one of our local secondary schools – Winterhill. We have kept our strong relationship with the Rotherham Music Service as we strive for continued musical excellence at Willow Tree Academy.
The children delivered a joyful and energetic concert performance, showcasing their talents on djembes and ukuleles.
Their teamwork, rhythm, and enthusiasm created a lively atmosphere that entertained and impressed the audience. The concert highlighted the children’s creativity, confidence, and love of music, and it was a pleasure for our learners to listen to the older children from Winterhill – perform on their instruments too.
