We had a lovely visit in class this week from Ann at Christian Aid, who came in to support our RE learning all about charity and helping others.
We explored key words such as equality, love and justice and learnt about the fantastic work Christian Aid does to support communities around the world. We looked closely at photographs, discussed global issues such as poverty and the challenges of transporting vital materials to those in need.
The children were incredibly inquisitive, asking thoughtful questions and showing a real interest in how we can make a difference to others around the world.
Thank you to Ann who came in for this special chat with the children and have inspired us when thinking about donating to the many charities that help others in need.
