We have had a brilliant morning in our SATs anxiety workshop with With Me In Mind to help us get ready for SATs week. Rather than focusing on tests, we focused on us and how to manage our worries.
Learning about the 3 F’s (fight, flight and freeze), we discussed how our bodies can react differently in times where we may feel anxious, scared or excited. We were introduced to simple strategies like breathing techniques and ‘grounding’ to help us calm.
A huge thanks to With Me In Mind as we all came away feeling much more confident and equipped to tackle what will be a very rewarding week!
