Visit To Eyam

Today, our Year 4 children took a fascinating step back in time with a visit to the historic village of Eyam. It was a wonderful day of connection and discovery, starting with a happy reunion as we caught up with our friends currently on their residential!

Together, we walked through the village to the historic cottage where the very first victims of the 1665 plague lived, bringing our history lessons vividly to life. We also spent time exploring the local church, where the children became real detectives, learning all about the different parts of a church building and their architectural features.

The children showed fantastic curiosity and respect throughout the day, even though the weather was wet! Well done, everyone!
