We have had a wonderful Easter Stay and Play in the LEAF! It was so special to see the children and their grown-ups working together, getting creative, and celebrating the start of the spring season
The children and their grown-ups rotated through a fun, hands-on carousel of activities. There were so many smiles (and a little bit of messy fun!) as everyone got stuck into: They painted daffodils, decorated Easter Eggs, Made Easter egg sun catchers and explored the messy sensory play dough table.
After our crafts, it was time for the main event: our Easter Egg Hunt! We made this extra special using our Widgit symbols. The children had to match the symbols to find the right colours, and everyone who completed the challenge won a well-deserved prize
Just when we thought the fun was over, we headed back inside to a wonderful surprise. The Easter Bunny had secretly visited the LEAF while we were busy hunting! The children were absolutely thrilled to find that the Easter Bunny had left a delicious Easter egg tucked right inside the beautiful baskets they had made earlier in the week.
