What a splash we’ve made in Year 2 today as our fantastic young scientists built their very own rain gauges out of recycled plastic bottles! After carefully converting the bottles into measuring tools, the children have eagerly headed outside and attached them to our playground. Every afternoon we will check the water levels and record the daily data in their investigation results sheet. We made our prediction based off the local weather forecast. Year 2 showed their incredible teamwork and scientific curiosity—hopefully there will be some rain for us to collect!
