Celebrating Chinese New Year in the LEAF!
We’ve had a fantastic time in the LEAF celebrating the Lunar New Year.
A Feast for the Senses
We tried a variety of traditional Chinese dishes, using our visual communication symbols to express our opinions.
To find out which dish was the ultimate LEAF favourite, we created a tally chart. It was a close race, but Noodles took the top spot! We also had a great time cracking open fortune cookies to see what the future holds.
Getting Creative
Before our big celebration, we worked hard on our fine motor skills by making and decorating our own Chinese lanterns. They looked beautiful hanging around our table while we listened to traditional Chinese music, helping us get into the festive spirit.
Attention Autism: The Dragon Appears!
