What an exciting day for our LEAF children! We packed so much learning, exploring, and creativity into our outdoor journey.
1. Special Delivery 📮
Our day started with an important community mission: walking together to the post box to deliver some very special letters that the children wrote earlier in the week.
2. Five-Senses Park Walk 🍃
Next, we visited the local park to explore the outdoors using all five of our senses:
Looking for colourful leaves and local wildlife.
Listening to the birds and crunching the leaves.
Feeling rough tree bark and smooth conkers.
Smelling the fresh, earthy woodland air. We finished the walk with a play in the playground.
3. Crafting Nature Crowns 👑
While exploring, the children collected their favourite fallen treasures—leaves, twigs, and conkers. Back at school, we turned these natural treasures into our very own nature crowns to wear.
