Today the children and adults at Roughwood wore pink to support a charity very close to Mr Hunter’s heart. Tommys is a charity that supports family experiencing pregnancy loss.
We would like to thank everyone for the kindness and generosity that they showed today. It was great to see parents and children talking so openly about pregnancy loss. This was one of Mr Hunter’s main reasons for running the London Landmarks Half Marathon as it should be a subject that is spoken about more and children should be made more aware of it (as they get older).
As a school we raised an amazing £620 in online/ cash donations. It goes to show how amazing and considerate our school community is!
