In our cross curricular learning we added different materials to our castle frames to test their strength. We predicted whether the material would withstand an attack. In the corridor we used our air compressor to fire a rubber pellet and a plastic finger at each material. The children then evaluated their castles and compared their predictions to the results of the investigation. The children loved this practical investigation during science week.
