We have been so lucky to have been visited by Tair Rafiq, his wonderful touring theatre company and Ann Foxley Johnson. The whole school enjoyed a performance of “The Haunting of Lenny Maggot” a play which focused on good and bad choices and the importance of repairing relationships and being kind to others. The show was amazing, and the children loved joining in and following Lenny Maggot’s journey. We also had a special message from Ann Foxley Johnson, a reminder to always treat people with kindness!
Our Year 3 & 4 classes also enjoyed a workshop with the theatre company. This workshop focused on bringing kindness to school, family & friends and the children also practiced some performance techniques!
We cannot wait for them to visit Roughwood again!
