This week in the LEAF, we have been diving into the delightful story of Za Za’s Baby Brother. The children have been thoroughly engaged as we explored how to care for a baby. We learned how to dress the baby, put on a nappy, and even how to feed and bathe them, all while ensuring the water temperature is just right—not too hot and not too cold! Through these activities, we emphasised the importance of using kind hands, fostering a nurturing environment.
In our ELSA sessions, we focused on the concept of personal space. The children participated in various activities to identify what constitutes good and poor choices regarding personal space. To put their learning into practice, we played a fun game in PE where each child had an imaginary bubble around them. They had to navigate the space carefully, ensuring they didn’t pop anyone’s bubble.
