Year 6 Geography: Mapping WW2 Evacuation ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

This week in Year 6 geography, we used atlases to explore WW2 evacuation. The children located big cities and then identified which areas were unsafe and which rural counties were used as safe evacuation areas.

They coloured in evacuation zones and safer countryside locations, helping them clearly see the contrast between busy cities and quieter rural areas. A simple activity that really helped bring history to life! ๐ŸŒ
