This week, Year 5 have been getting hands-on with BBC micro:bits, exploring the fundamentals of block-based programming. By mastering key concepts like loops and variables, the children successfully programmed their own scrolling name tags and a digital Rock Paper Scissors game. It was fantastic to see their code instantly translate into interactive animations and logic on the micro:bit’s LED screen!
