Children in Year 5 have been learning the meaning and impact of ‘stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination’ within society.
Children came to the conclusion that there was no place in society for this as it does not align with our British values.
Children generated their own quotes and found meaning within them. Some included:
Don’t judge a book by its cover
Don’t be ignorant – always ask
We are all perfect in our own way
We are all the same on the inside.
The posters which they created summed up the message perfectly!
