This week in science, we began an investigation to find out what plants need to grow well. We planted cress seeds and discussed what plants need to be healthy. As a class, we made predictions about what might happen if a plant doesn’t get sunlight or water.
To test our ideas, we set up different variables by changing the conditions for each group of seeds. Some will have no sunlight, others no water, and some will have everything they need. Over the next few weeks, we will observe any changes and record what we see in our cress diaries.
