In RE, Class 5 learned about understanding life and death in the Christian journey. Reverend Ali visited our class to talk to the children about what Christians believe happens when someone dies and how this is reflected in church traditions. She helped bring the learning to life by showing us what happens at a church funeral, using a gentle and engaging example with a funeral for Puss in Boots. This thoughtful session helped the children develop their understanding in a sensitive and age-appropriate way.
