This week in art, we have been learning about tint and tone. We practised how to change a colour by adding white to make a tint and black to make a tone. The children explored how these changes can affect the mood and appearance of a painting.
We also revisited our paintbrush routines, including how to hold and clean our brushes properly, and practised different brush strokes to get ready for our next painting.
Next session, we will use what we’ve learned to create our own sunflower painting inspired by Vincent Van Gogh!
