We have continued to explore our coloured pastels in art. We learnt all about tint and shade. With chalk pastels, colours can change! When we add white or press softly, we make a tint, which is lighter and gentle. When we add black or press harder, we make a shade, which is darker. White makes light tints, black makes dark shades. They are fun to explore together.
