In Art, Year 6 will be drawing their own self portraits. We began by studying various artists who have produced portraits in different styles. By analysing artists with surrealism style such as Giuseppe Arcimboldo, to Pablo Picasso and his cubism style and Andy Warhol’s pop art themes, we have chosen styles that appeal to us and have captured these thoughts and feelings within sketchbooks.
We cannot wait to begin next lesson where we will be practising techniques before producing the final outcome!
