In science, Class 5 explored how distance affects sound. The children used a range of different instruments to investigate how sounds change the further away you are from the source. They also carried out an exciting experiment to see if rice could “dance” in response to sound vibrations. This hands-on investigation helped the children develop their scientific enquiry skills while deepening their understanding of sound.
