This week we have been reading ‘the scarecrows wedding’ by Julia Donaldson. Scarecrows are used on farms to protect the crops that farmers grow. Without them, the birds may eat all of the seeds and farmers would have no crops to harvest in the autumn.
We have created a fact file all about scarecrows and performed it using a talk for writing.
