In Chestnuts this week we have been learning all about the numbers to 3. We have been watching the Numberblocks videos on BBC iPlayer and counting lots of objects to 3.
We have moved on to representing these numbers using a five frame. We started by using connecting cubes and a five frame, making sure we only put 1 counter in each box. Today, we tried to use a whiteboard pen to draw the counters ourselves.
We were very resilient and kept trying again when we didn’t quite represent them correctly. All of the grownups were so proud of us for persevering and trying again until we did it perfectly!
