What a busy and exciting day we had! This week, our Year 1 chefs took their learning out of the classroom and headed straight to Aldi to prepare for our upcoming feast. Before we set off, the children worked very hard in their Literacy lessons. We learned all about what people ate hundreds of years ago. Using our best phonics and neatest handwriting, every child created their very own Medieval Stew shopping list.
Now that our bags are full of fresh ingredients, we are ready for the best part. Back at school, we will be washing, chopping, and simmering our ingredients to create an authentic Medieval Stew. We can’t wait to see if it tastes as good as it looks!
