Our Year 4 children have made a wonderful start to the year, settling in beautifully and expressing themselves through some truly stunning artwork.
As part of our first mission for Mission Possible, we’ve been exploring the process of gaining insight into who we are — our character strengths, areas for growth, personal values, and passions. To bring this learning to life, the children began by sketching self-portrait outlines. Outside these outlines, they thoughtfully added vocabulary that reflects their unique personalities and qualities.
To complete their pieces, the children used watercolours and permanent markers to add vibrant colour and detail. The result? A collection of meaningful, creative, and personal artworks that showcase not only artistic talent but also self-awareness and reflection.
We’re incredibly proud of the children’s efforts — their artwork looks fantastic and will make a truly inspiring display in our classroom!
