As part of our maths learning, the children in Year 3 have been making estimates to help them check how accurate their answers are.
We have then applied our problem solving of using estimates to calculate different questions as a team. One group was calculating the cost of the food at the banquet, and the other groups were calculating estimates for the amount of passengers travelling on each carriage of the train.
