As part of the ‘Big Blast’, all children in Key Stage Two performed together in collaboration with Rotherham Music Service, in an academy performance at Winterhill Secondary School.
The children performed with courage and confidence, and were even able to improvise as part of an ensemble! We had guitarists, violinists, drummers and ukulele players. This was incredibly impressive!
Thank you to all staff and parent/carer volunteers that made this possible today, and a well done to all children in today’s performance this morning. Learning a new instrument is hard, but performing pieces in front of others is certainly an accomplishment! Take a look at some of the pictures from today…
