Investigating the components of blood in Year 6

In our science lesson this week, we learnt about the different components of blood and represented this through using different sweets, water and a jar. We found that red blood cells, plasma, white blood cells and platelets all make up the blood in our body and can describe the vital role that each one of them has.

We represented the percentage of each component accurately when completing our investigation.
