Investigating how light travels in Y6 🔦

Year 6 had a brilliant time investigating how light travels and got properly hands-on with the science! We started by recapping natural light sources and then used window pens to draw our predictions, using symbols to show how we thought light would move.

After that, it was time to test our ideas using torches. By shining the light and observing what happened, we were able to see it clearly for ourselves — and our investigation led us to a confident conclusion: light travels in straight lines. Lots of great discussion, predictions, and science thinking all round! 💡✨
