Ice investigators

January 8, 2026

This week we found lots of ice in our outside provision. We have loved spotting it and using it in different ways.

We know water makes ice when it gets really really cold so we have put water in buckets to see if we can make more ice overnight. It has been so cold the ice has not melted.
We had to make sure we were warm in our outdoor gear.
Cold hands from touching the ice.
We drew snowmen hoping it would make it snow. Fingers crossed.
