Today children in class 5 combined their maths, PE and topic learning all into one fantastic lesson.
Children imagined what it would be like to throw spears to catch their prey. We learned that to be a good hunter gatherer you would need to accurately throw 9-18 meters away from the target to be safe.
Children had 3 attempts to throw and then we used a trundle wheel/tape measure to help us to precisely measure.
Tomorrow children will be interpreting their own data.
